Question received via email:
I am a university professor, and I have found in Internet a spreadsheets of structural calculation. I would like to know how to obtain the I-Girder Section Analysis. Made it to work with IS unites? Does this sheet have any price for academic aims?
Re: SI units and academic version
Obtaining spreadsheet: You can download demo directly from our website.
SI units: We do not plan to implement SI version of the spreadsheet in near future. However, you can purchase advanced license for the spreadsheet and customize the spreadsheet to fit your needs.
Academic pricing: Since we believe that the pricing of our spreadsheets is reasonable and affordable, we do not offer any academic discounts. However, we are very interested in cooperation with academia and it is our intention to use structural wiki as a tool to improve knowledge and technology transfer for structural engineers. If you would be interested in this type of cooperation (well-established portals already exist for other disciplines, such as imechanica.org for mechanicians or mathworld for mathematicians), please contact us by email!
