It's been a while since I've used NEiNastran, so I'm certain it has continued to improve, but it is powerful software. I'm not as thrilled with the FEMAP interface, but the calculation engine is fast and accurate. FEMAP is useful for interfacing with more than just NEiNastran, but I wish UG was developing FEMAP as effectively as Noran is developing its calculation capabilities.

I have used NEiNastran for over Ten (10) years. This FEA solution is quite powerful and yet affordable. Not once have Noran Engineering have exaggerated the performance and features of NEiNastran. I have used NEi Nastran for over 5 years now and I am very satisfied. I was a previous Algor user and also had MSC Nastran experience. By comparison I would recommend NEi Nastran as it is very well designed, fast, and reliable. We do a lot of large modal response runs which it handles well. Support from NEi is very good and responsive. Great training as well. I highly recommend it.
