I've used Algor for about 10 years and have performed everything from Linear Static to Non-linear MES, Fluids and Heat Transfer. I've also used a few of its competitors and have come to the conclusion that all software has its perculiarities, but Algor has been easy to use and very effective...especially for the price.

I have used other FEA packages in the past and my company recently purchased Algor with MES. I found the product very difficult to use and the results questionable. The price was attractive however.
