Software Name: EBPLate
Description: EBPlate software provides accurate values of elastic critical stresses for a wide field of practical cases of rectangular plates subject to in-plane loading. Plates can be either stiffened or unstiffened, the stiffening being provided by longitudinal and/or transverse stiffeners; orthotropic plates can also be treated. Complex stresses patterns can easily be defined, including patch loads. Numerous display possibilities are available for data and results. EBPlate tool was designed by CTICM in the frame of the european research project COMBRI (RFS-CR-03018), with partial funding of the Research Fund for Coal and Steel.

Problem with multi-user system, non power user cannot use the program. Interface seen good as well.

This tool allows a very fast determination of the critical buckling modes of complex longitudinal and transverse stiffened rectangular plates under any type of load conditions. You won’t find any csoftware, which gives you the right solution faster…not only in terms of calculation time (this program is unbeatable fast) but concerning the input time you need to generate your problem. A comprehensive report of the whole calculation can be compiled at the push of a button. I really love this computer program!
