ADAPT-PT

Standalone program for analysis and design of post-tensioned slab systems and beam frames: one-way and two-way slabs, flat slabs, slabs with drop panels, waffle slabs, joist slabs, beams (L, T, rectangular, I). Capabilities include: (1) support bonded and unbonded tendons; (2) calculation of short and long-term deflection; (3) calculation of stress losses (due to elastic shortening, creep and shrinkage); (4) considers base mild reinforcing; (5) support for several tendon profiles (reversed parabola, straight, harped, simple parabola, cantilever); (6) selection of tendon by force or number of strands; (7) checks for initial, sustained and full service stress conditions; (8) iterates to find and optimize solution.

The program is offered in two versions, a low cost version referred to as "Standard" and a "Plus" version. The two programs are identical except that the Standard version is limited to 5 spans and two cantilevers. The Plus version goes up to 20 spans and two cantilevers.
