Sigma-X Section

Calculates geometric and material properties of standard, arbitrary and built Up sections. Features powerful drawing and editing tools including polar and orthogonal tracking, curves, shape integration, undo and redo, quick conversion between metric and imperial units and an active report writer. Data can be input graphically, from tables, from built-in library of standard sections, from AutoCAD or from digitized images (scanned photos or drawings). Calculates area, moment of inertia, elastic moduli, section centroid, torsion constant, principal properties and rotation of sections. Allows for voids, openings and embedded sections. Shapes and sections can be rotated through 360 degrees. Advanced edition of Sigma-X Section calculates equivalent material properties, properties of reinforced concrete in sagging and hogging, heutral axis position, compression only materials (concrete).
